nails: black color...

i like black once in awhile, but i don't wear
very much black to begin with, so it kinda
clashes with what i do wear...

i like the way a crisp, glossy black polish looks
though. its very sleek and can look edgy but clean.

on the contrary, it can look pretty skanky if
its all chipped up! so, if you're gonna do black,
do it right

it's a bit rare that i bother with painting my nails.
but if i DO, you can just about guarantee they'll be black ;p
every now and then i'll do straight white instead.

Black nailpolish as a fashion trend just looks fake on most people. They can't carry it off. Like Cassie, beautiful girl, but that grunge type look is not who she isWell, it just looks awkward, if I can see you  have the confidence it won't matter!

I think black nails look great and I wear black very often.  I also wear navy blue which is my favorite of all.  I use dark purples also and just started wearing grey.  I just found a new company that is great. They are called Zoya.  They carry these matte colors that are really cool.  I think I have all of them or atleast most of the matte colors.  They come in black, grey, purple, red, pink and they have an emerald green which is nice.  At first I didn't like it but after wearing it a couple of days I really liked it.  I wish they had a matte navy color.

I've worn black many times but now I prefer dark blue, green, purple,etc. It looks black but there is a shine of color to it.

I think straight black is too harsh. But right now I'm wearing a dark gunmetal type of color on my nails that I LOVE.

Love, love, love it! Even though I sometimes receive sideways looks from older family members. I think they think it's a phase, but I just like the way it looks.
