How many people either lost a foot, leg, or an arm that required you to get a prosthetic?

Three years ago, while I was getting my feet looked at by my podiatrist, she noticed an infection growing in my left foot, so I went to a surgeon with x-rays and tests results, and he agreed that I do indeed have an infection, plus in was already in the bones of my foot, which meant my foot would have to come off.
