What retailers do you think will close down after they dont make big$$$ this holiday season?

I am leaning towards Kmart/sears closing

If they offer a lot competitive sales as they are doing now plus they have reopened up their layaway section, I think they will have a good chance of staying open.

My Ex worked for sears for over 20 yrs. before he retired. They always said that the store was closing, especially after the merge with K-mart. They will be around for years.

Kmart probably. They just don't have very good prices. Do have layaway and that's about all they have going for them.

Sears wont be going anywhere anytime soon. I'm not so sure about K-Mart being around for long...IMO Sears is the only thing holding them up.

i really wouldn't be surprised if k-mart crumbled.
i've never found anything in there that i couldn't
find somewhere else, for cheaper and/or better
quality.

i'm surprised fashion bug is still around.
i also heard that border's was closing lots of
walden book stores soon  :sad1:

[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I personally wish it would be Wallyworld, but know that's not going to happen.  I would guess if any of the big discount stores close, it's gonna be Kmart.  I've personally never been in one that was even clean and that's just gross to me, plus they aren't cheap as junk stores go.
