Who's starting their holiday shopping?

My family has grown since last year.  That means I have more people to buy for and even more money to spend.  Is shopping early a good thing, will it save me time and money?  Or, is it better to wait for all these so called sales that occur after Thanksgiving?

I got a lot of my Christmas shopping done this morning.  We only buy for the kids in our family.  For the adults, we each bring 1 gift and draw numbers, etc.

I've got a good start on my nieces and nephews and I'm done with my son.  I only have a few others to buy.

I'll be using Octobers cashout to buy my son's main Solstice present. The new ipod nano.

I am done with my Christmas shopping! And I am so glad! I don't have any kids so I don't have to buy a lot!

it could save you some money...save you time, definitely. you are also likely to get exactly what you want, bc closer to christmas, more things will be selling out with all the people wanting them at once. some of the sales aren't really all that great, anyway lol. i guess every penny counts though...which is why i haven't started my shopping yet. i can't afford it, atm. ah, the life of a broke college student lol.

I have gotten most of it done.  Now I just have to start wrapping and figure out what I have for who and so on.  with 3 kids and 7 neices and nephews, I have to start early..
