I do not like being asked what I want, Christmas should not be like this, it is an obligation. Presents for the kids should be the extent. but even that can get us into trouble. we feel guilty if we don't buy the whole farm. Let us go to church, talk about Jesus Christ and sing Christmas songs, or Psalms. If I had to choose something non material, it would be to have all this bumpy road behind me, my shoulder to heal completely, my leg to heal and my ankle/heel but then that is for God, in prayer.

This is actually the first Christmas season my wife and I can fully devote to our Christmas. We were married December 5th of last year and took a short honeymoon afterwards, so it was very hectic doing the newlywed thing. This year we're planning on staying in the area and relaxing and ENJOYING the Christmas season. I've actually only asked for socks and underwear and cologne... practical every day use gifts.

@dreamyxo FusionCash will... provided you put in the time!

Really, all I want is for my husband to be able to get two consecutive days off of work so we can go visit my family for the holidays.  I have relatives who are flying out for the first time in several years, and while I don't mind celebrating the holidays late, I at least want to be able to spend time with my entire family.  As it is, my husband has to work all day on Christmas, and his manager has said he can't have two days in a row off during that week.  :crybaby2:

Clothes and money/gift cards.  I'm a big shopper, but can't do the shopping i want because I'm saving money for a trip to Europe.

I'd love If my daughter was released from the hospital around christmas but being she's only 2 pounds and must weigh between 4 1/2 and 5 pounds It'll probably be closer to the middle of January or later.

that must be hard leaving her at the hospital for christmas, but I know exactly what it's like so what to bring them home, by the time you know it she'll be strong and home with the family.

My son was 2 lb 12 oz at birth, stayed in the hospital for 7 weeks (he was 6 lbs when he was released).  He is 4 now and nobody would ever guess he was a preemie, he is taller than all the other 4 year-olds  :)  I hope she grows well and gets home soon!

Wow. I was only 25 weeks when I had my daughter. The doctors/nurses said she'll probably be In until January. She's 2 pounds 1.9 ounces. She's a month old today. Thanks
