Amazon will pay two separate penalties for privacy violations: $25 million for allegedly not deleting children's data and $5.8 million for failing to restrict access to Ring security videos, the Federal Trade Commission announced Wednesday.

Somtimes the government just goes too far (in my opinion). Then again, this sounds like fake news to me.

I use Alexa every day and I don't feel violated. I think someone is playing some kind of game to see how much money they can grab.

I use Alexa daily.  I don't feel violated.  As a person with a disability, Alexa helps me to be more independent
