Store prices have gone up because fuel prices have gone up. That means: All those gas guzzelers
18 wheelers require high priced fuel to transport all the products you buy at your local supermarket.
Who ends up paying for the very expensive fuel? You the shopper! Yes...Everything is so expensive!

It's a bargain compared to digging up my back yard and growing my own food. Not to mention I can see the final product to know better how good it will taste than when I am holding a handful of seeds wondering how they will produce (or not).

Diesel use to be the cheaper fuel, it was always 75 to 1.00 less than regular gasoline.  Then when they get so any people to switch their vehicles to it, it is now the most expensive.     BUt good one bragging about you expensive trip!   LOL

Yes things are so expensive now.  You use to be able to get a basket full of groceries and now you come out with only a couple of bags for the same price.

OK, I have to brag now, I just went to COSTCO.  I haven't been for awhile so it was for a stock up trip.  Most expensive trip I have had for awhile.

I'm happy for the local Food Pantry Project that helps us have some of the nicer things to eat for free a $5 donation at the door. I don't care how many surveys I see asking if our country is heading in the right direction, my anser is always going to be You Bet We Are! Sure there are a lot of big problems right now I would much rather not see, but we still have a lot of kind and loving neighbors that outnumber the bad apples in the barrel every day.

I agree 100%.  I think we will always come out ahead in the long run.  Some problems are temporary and will work out with a little time.

I'm truly inspired by the message conveyed in this Drift hunters article. It's a true morale booster

Grocery store trips can be an adventure on their own these days, right? Haha. Sometimes, the prices make you feel like you're on an expensive vacation, even though you just picked up milk and eggs. I've noticed the same thing. Small everyday errands can feel surreal, especially when you see something online that hits close to home.
Speaking of trips, I recently stayed at a resort in Branson, Missouri, and it was a great escape. The service was very good, and there was plenty to do nearby. If you're ever in that area, it's worth checking out. Here's the link: https://www.westgateresorts.com/hotels/missouri/branson/. The atmosphere there is a nice break from the usual hustle and bustle.
