Thanks, I'll put this in my calendar.  Sometimes it is really handy to have a cheat sheet for quick reference!

Juneteenth: Friday, June 16-whats this one again?

Juneteenth is a combination of the words June and nineteen. It marks the end of slavery in the United States, we only recently started celebrating it as a national holiday. Why they are celebrating on Friday the 16th, I don't know. It might be a local thing from where that poster was from. I live in Utah and we are debating whether to observe it (for the purposes of government offices that are closed on national holidays) on the 19th or the Friday or Monday either before or after the 19th. I feel we should observe it the same way we do Christmas, day of is the day where offices are closed (if holiday is on Saturday then Friday closed and holiday on Sunday then Monday closed).
