Christmas Cookies
« on: December 11, 2022, 11:50:48 am »
We are getting ready to have our annual cookie exchange party.  We had to not do for a couple of years so we are all really excited.    So far we have  butter cookies )she makes them bright green and red like trees and wreaths), sugar cookies all decorated like Christmas, Cranberry White Chocolate, Peanut Butter Kisses, Chocolate Chip, Maccaroons, shortbrtead.  I can't wait to see what some of the others are making.  IT is fun to be able to serve guests such a variety of cookies without having to bake all the different ones.  We have some friends that are fabulous bakes and decorators.

This sounds like a lot of fun.  Wish we had something like this in the area where I live, but I'm not aware of anything like this.

My wife consistantly bakes the best cookies I have ever had. When all our kids were home, every Christmas she would bake hundreds of them to package up and deliver to our family and friends homes along with singing Christmas Carols and sometimes accompanied with musical instruments. Many fond memories that will last a lifetime.

I love making Christmas Cookies. I like for me and the kids to do it together. It feels so loving.

I love Christmas cookies, but I always eat way too many of them. Such a joyful bittersweet burden.

Almost forgot, a few people brought different homemade candies.  Fudge, peppermint chocolates, marshmallows dipped in chocolate and sprinkes.  Lots of yummies.
