Candidates for Higher Office 2023
« on: August 02, 2022, 05:59:18 pm »
 :cat:

Instead of complaining, get some names out there of people that have the credentials and want to hold office.  I haven't heard of any new names, so all we're going to get is the stale old political followers.  We need a younger man to come forward and put his name on ballot for President! All these reversals of our laws have to stop, we need a man that listens to the people first , then the Congress/Senate.   Military or not, we need someone we can follow.

 ???

I appreciate your post, calendria, as always. But you seem to be touting male only candidates. Do you not know the definition of a woman?  :-[ They can have babies and run for office as well.  Though I would more than likely prefer a man, depending on who it was.

That being aside, if we could just get an intelligent, honest older man who loves our country, I would be deliriously happy. An older man would probably be more set in his ways and not so susceptible to being misled. What do you think?

True, I am conditioned to having a male president.  My bad.

Yeah. Age and gender as the reason to vote for or against a person running for political office take a far back seat to simple platform ideas and beliefs.

I would vote for a 150 year old Ronald Reagan over a 35 year old Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton - and that decision has ZERO to do with age, race, or gender.

Right there with you buddy. Could you imagine how easily covid would have been handled by Reagan? He would have easily been able to kill more people with it than Trump did. All he would have to do was what he did with AIDS and just not acknowledge it.

There have been absolutely NO female candidates that I would have wanted in office at all, much less for a president.  :P I believe in listening to the candidate and their values, morals, convictions, and ideals in regard to their efficacy as a leader.

I loathe the fact that Biden has specified gender and skin color as criteria for any public office.  :sad1: It's positively shameful; not to mention totally sexist and racist. I would vote for a qualified female candidate if she outshined all the others that were in the race for whatever position.

Not only that, but it seems he didn't want experienced people in the administration either. He appointed some people that had experience in governing like Granholm and Buttigedge but no common sense and no experience in the jobs Biden gave them. None of those he appointed had any experience in their jobs, especially JPK or is it JKP? She is absolutely unprepared for any press briefings and she doesn't know a thing about what's going on in the country. The speechwriters are definitely good at dividing the country even more and their speeches for Biden  prove they hate Republicans and conservatives. As for Biden, he doesn't even know what he's reading (speaking) about. His blank mind just speaks the words on the teleprompter but he doesn't know what he's saying. Sad.
Oh, and by the way, we need someone who will unite the country again, not tear us apart or down like Biden does every time he spews his hate in his "campaign" speeches. I used to split my vote if I liked what the other side had to say but he has now driven me away from splitting my vote. I will vote for one party and it's not Dems because of all the hate every one of them attack; people like Waters, Schumer, Pelosi, the Squad, Schiff, Green, Jeffries, Raskin, Hillary (even though she's not in office), and many others who has TDS.

We do need someone younger and I don't have any specific person in mind but just don't give us Hillary or anyone who speaks out against the other party or has TDS. We need someone who cares about the country and the people, not someone who is going to raise taxes as a way to get out of the hole, not someone who will tax the businesses out of existence or they move to another country and never come back, and someone who understands inflation, the causes, and how to lower it and finally, when to  tax, when to spend, and when to start or stop printing money.

Wow. I have some pretty strong opinions about the current Admin. and its appointments/policies/agenda. You just listed them all in a pretty succinct and straight forward post. Kudos to you!
