Summer Vacation - School's Out
« on: June 14, 2022, 03:26:20 pm »
What is every doing for the summer.  Trying to find some programs for the kids for part of the time, just hanging around here all the time is fine for me but not them.  We have one in a Nasa space camp for 2 weeks 1/2 days, one is in a coding program for 6 weeks 1/2 days.  But we are having trouble finding something for the 6 year old.  We are not near their schools, so they need something to do with other kids part o the time.

All of my Kids are grown. I am probably staying Home where it is nice and cool inside.

My daughter is grown, but I keep my 10 month old grandson.  Most of the time we will be staying at home where it is nice and cool, but there is a splash pad next to my apartment and I might take him there a few times.

My son is no longer living, but when they were younger, I tried to find free or cheap weekly camps. Bought them a pool. Had garden chores, etc.

This is a great topic for discussion. I love holidays, because you can relax as much as you like and not think about your written assignments.

Our rental at Big Bear just got cancelled, so we are going to get spend 4 days in the mountains for the 4th of July weekend.  We usually rent it out for the weekends and just going during the week in the summer, this will be a fun change!

I remember when I had to go to summer school, this year I'm just going to stay home and try to keep cool with my portable fan

I am also trying to find some programs for the kids for part of the time, just hanging around here all the time is fine for me but not them. I can't wait until school starts so they can have some structure and routine again. I really don't mind doing their laundry or taking out the trash or doing other chores that they don't want to do because they are young and need direction. I would suggest you use holiday PowerPoint templates as it is quite good. But I would like to get back into exercising and working out again, so I can feel better about myself.

Custom avatars are also a great way to promote your business or brand. By creating a unique avatar that reflects your brand's values and personality, you can create a recognizable visual identity that will help you stand out from the competition. Whether you're using your custom avatar on social media or in online forums, it can be a powerful tool for building brand recognition and increasing engagement with your target audience.
