Mass shootings
« on: June 05, 2022, 10:50:49 am »
I just don't know what this world is coming to.  Everyday there has been another mass shooting where several people have died.  A young man that works with my daughter was shot in a road rage shooting a couple of nights ago.  He has had two emergency surgeries.

If someone evil wants to kill, they will find a way; with or without a gun. The first murder was with a rock. Perhaps we could try going back to teaching our children Godly values. Keep the horrific movies, cartoons and video games away from these innocent minds. Stop murdering babies and making that seem like it is OK. Return to the 10 commandments. I grew up with guns and ammo well within my reach and never once touched them. I respected my parents and that guns could be dangerous. Start addressing mental health issues with especially our young people.  Pray that God will have mercy on this country that so many want to destroy. God help us all.

It was told LONG ago what the last days of this system would be like.If the average person isnt convinced of that with the wars, economy, pestilence, crime etc then i guess live out your life as best as you can.

I wanna live in a peaceful world with NO problems, crime, food and never grow old and die.

Yes we can still do all the right things in Gods eyes and still be in the wrong place at the wrong time, but Jehovah will NOT forget you.Even the zillions that have died in ignorance will have a chance to hear the truth RE Gods kingdom with Jesus as king.

Every law enforcement department should have an appropriate number of hightly trained snipers on staff and use them.

I see a lot of young teenagers with AK77's. They are way too young to have any type of gun.

Congress is looking at this all wrong. No matter how many laws they put in place to control guns violence, it won't work because it's not the law-abiding citizen causing these problems. The most recent in Philadelphia and another city (Nashville?) were arguments between two people who probably owned black market guns, probably drugs involved. Criminals will always be able to get guns and they don't do it lawfully. When will Congress understand that? They won't. They are so "out of it" that they think everything they do is for the people but they're wrong. They fight with each other and some call the other party names and blame them for everything that happens, but that's wrong, too. They need to get their act together, stop the childishness, stop the attacks on their colleagues from the other party and making everything political, and start thinking what's best for the country.

Until they figure out why young teens are doing these mass shootings, and/or how they can stop them from getting their guns, nothing will stop them. Fentanyl is killing the kids, too. Is Congress doing anything about that except claim it's killing our kids?

Back in the days when I was going to school no guns were allowed in school, you wouldn't hear of such a thing

On Monday, July 4th, this guy went to the parade and killed 7 people and injured more than 2 dozen.  This man lived in the neighborhood.  Sick and hateful people in this world have lost their small minds.

This post you are responding to was neither directed toward you nor meant specifically for you. I am sorry that you believe me to be dangerous. Honestly, I am not. But that is up to you to decide for yourself.

I will "leave you alone" as you ask, but as I have said and done before - when you attack or spread untruths about my religion I will not stand back silently. I have made a conscious effort to NOT attack JW, but to merely question the things that I did not (and still do not) understand. You cannot make the same statement about Catholicism, but I'm sure in your mind you are doing the good work.

You will remain in my prayers as I do believe you to be a kind soul and we have had some great dialog on many things unrelated to religion or politics.
