Happy Memorial Day Weekend!

It's Memorial Day weekend.  We went this morning and spent a couple of hours placing flags on graves at the Veterans Cemetary.   In our town it is also fleet week, so we plan on going to tour soe of the ships and watching the aerial stunts of the helicopters.   Of course, we will bbq on Monday and remember the veterans we have lost in our family.

It's the unofficial kick off to summer.  We have several short/log weekend trips planned and will continue to enjoy our garden.  What else is everyone up to for the summer?

Not doing much next week celebrating my son in laws birthday.

We are unpacking now, we spent 4 days up at Lake Arrowhead in California.  Big group with kids, grandkids, and a lot of friends.

All the group that was on the trip is coming here for a big bbq this afternoon.  We came home early to avoid the traffic jams.  But the bbq will be fun and we are ready for next week.

We had a family social gathering in our backyard. The weather was so nice and it was great to see family members.

Went to Florida to spend time on the beach and relax. Remembering the few freedoms that we have left under this horrible administration. Thankful for those that fought and died to give us freedoms, even though they are quickly being taken away

My Memorial Day weekend was kind of quiet.  I spent Saturday at my daughter's house and we cooked on the grill.  Sunday I stayed home and relaxed.

I kind of hated this memorial day weekend because I had to wait an extra day to get the mail for the usps didn't deliver on monday
