Your accurate bible study should have taught you Judas was appointed an apostle of Jesus at first before he betrayed him.
Trump was elected president and triumphant at first till 2020 and 1/6/21 happened. The only thing missing here is Trump hasnt committed suicide yet.
Just what DO you learn with your bible study?
Well you are messing up your metaphors then. You talked about Judas being
appointed in response to me talking about the SCOTUS justices
appointed by Trump. Naturally I assumed you were talking about justices being akin to Judas - with both being appointed (why else would you even raise the appointment similarity being part of both relationships?) THAT is the apparent and obvious connection that stands out in MY interpretation and reading of your initial metaphor.
The TRUMP appointed Justices made this happen.
Lemme remind you Judas was appointed an apostle to Jesus. How did he turn out?
Now you are saying Trump (who as you yourself admit was elected, not
appointed) is the one you were comparing to Judas. (You see where the interpretation breaks down, right?) == So just to be clear, I was operating under the assumption that you were connecting the fact that both Judas and Justices were the appointed ones. My bad if my mistake.
The Trump = Judas argument is one I'm not going to bother addressing because it obviously wouldn't make a difference anyway. He's Judas. He's Charlie Manson. He's Hitler. He's every other evil (including Satan) that has ever existed.
Just what DO you learn with your bible study?
I won't deeply answer the last question there because I know it was only mockingly said in jest. I learn plenty. A lot of personal sharing and reflection and enlightenment. I like to think that I learn much more in being able to express my opinions and ask questions for further clarification, unlike living bound by the shackles that are put on you and your fellow JW friends who just learn the script that you are instructed to repeat and are never allowed to consider outside sources.
I know who Judas was and what he did after the Last Supper. I just didn't see any connection between him and the modern Supreme Court - which in all honesty is the comparison that it seemed you were making.
