Rain

It's finally happened, here in the Midwest, the rain has stopped!
After days, perhaps even weeks, the sun is shinning. I was beginning to feel like a stowaway on Noah's Ark. My poor old run down roof is breathing a sigh of relief, yes I can hear it...perhaps now I can get it fixed?!

Same here, I woke up this morning and the sun was shining! It's been over a week. It will be nice not to have to mop up mud every day.

I was sick of the rain, and WORMS too. I just kept thanking God that it wasn't snow yet. It will be here soon enough.

We had some rain a few weeks ago here in L.A. Some lovely green grass sprouted on the hills. Now it's withering from day after day of 80-plus heat and dryness.
