Does anyone still use Craigslist?

I just added an app (through My Points) where you can search for jobs and I thought of Craigslist.  I haven't used that website in a long time.  I actually found my last three jobs on that site and I've had my current job for 13 years.

I search it once a week for jobs, surveys/studies and now paying gigs and things of that sort.

How can you be sure that the people you interact with on Craigslist are reputable?  As the classified ads used to be in the newspaper, you can't be sure.  Do not feel safe using this, eBay at least, you interact thru the mail and are safe when you purchase or sell. and other employment sites are usually safe to use.

I got ripped off and a run-around gladly can't remember the story. Never used it again I thought it was a scam place

We look on there sometimes, There was a lot of people getting hurt so we never check on it anymore.

I did get screwed on there a decade ago. Lost a couple grand but like everything, its a learning experience.

I once in a blue moon use craigslist but after reading all the creepy pastas about craigslist the ones that not made up. Creepy pastas consist of made up stories and fictional ones. But after hearing some real craigslist stories I'm more cautious on what I go after or when i have a listing who i sell too because some really messed up stuff has happen thanks to craigslist and the people on there

Letgo isn't a scam. Its actually legit but buyer beware not everything you see is what your going to get. You be better off going on Mecari or Poshmark both apps don't the person right away they make sure you get the product firs to make sure it is what it actually sys it is before releasing money
