Sweetest day
« on: October 12, 2021, 03:55:21 pm »
Sweetest day is next weekend. Do you celebrate sweetest day and what do you do for that day? I guess I would if I had somebody but I don't. I'm single.

Sorry - I never heard of it - we celebrate valentine's day - is it like that?

I gave my husband a card, only because his birthday is the 10th and I liked the card. We agreed several years ago that Sweetest Day is a made up holiday and don't really do anything for it.

I have never heard of the Sweetest Day. We celebrate Valentine's Day. Is that what you are talking about.

My wife and I both consider Sweetest Day a ploy by the greeting card and candy companies to get their hands on our stash of cash. We choose to not celebrate it. Our wedding anniversary was on October 1 - so we choose to celebrate that this month and forget about B.S. Sweetest Day.

Never heard of it. We were in town yesterday and did not see anything about it, I did glance at the cards.

Never heard of it.  Sounds like a way to get people to spend money on things they don't need.   :pumpkin:

It was yesterday and yes its like Valentine's day. It's supposed to be for the men and valentine day is supposed to be for the women.

I have never heard of this either.  That sounds weird, both days are the same just for only one at a time.

Never heard of it.  I think people just make up days just to celebrate.

I didn't celebrate sweetest day, but I love sweets especially cupcakes and desserts. My favorite is chocolate chip cookies and chocolate covered potato chips.
