New Job
« on: October 01, 2021, 12:37:39 pm »
After working for 24 years in the same office, I was recently offered and accepted a new job in a completely different field and start later this month. Hoping to get in at least another 15 to 20 doing bigger and better things.

Thanks. I will still be around, I just may not be able to log in or post at all hours of the day like I was able to with my previous job.

Congratulations. Sometimes taking a break and doing something else could be really energizing. I have a friend who who with a firm for 10+ years and recently switched to a different firm with a different role and she loves it. Best wishes for the new job.

I don't understand why you should create topics on forums about the fact that someone is looking for a job or can't find it, when today it is not difficult to find a job. It is enough to use website to find a good place to work, as there are a huge number of interesting vacancies there. See for yourself.

I don't understand why you should reply to a legitimate post started by someone who has become friends with many of the people who frequent these forums and is telling them that he has changed careers with this bullshit of a spam post in which you seem to be criticizing the OP for sharing such news.

Go back into the hole you crawled out of and leave the friendly conversation to those who are friends. The spam thread is elsewhere.

Happy for you. Hope everything goes great for you.  Ignore Negative Nellies. They must be unhappy with their own life and try to make everyone as miserable as they are.  :)
