Do you remember where you were and what you were doing when the towers fell?

I was in the 7th grade and we were watching it during social studies.

I was at work when the towers fell watching on one of the TVs in our conference room. I just remember how clear the sky was that day in the New york area.

I was working the night shift back then, so I was sleeping at the time. My boyfriend called and said a plane crashed into one of the towers. I was groggy and didn't think much of it. Then my dad called to tell me the same thing. But my dad NEVER calls me, so I knew it was serious. I didn't get much sleep that day.  :'(

Yes.  I was at work.  I worked at a Senior Center and it was a Tuesday because one of club's was meeting at 9:30 am.  One of the employees husband called and told us to turn on the TV.  Some of the seniors had already arrived for the meeting and we sat there and watch the second plane hit the tower.  It was so horrible to watch.

i was at work. They opened up a conference for us to watch it on TV, i ended up leaving early because the new coverage was so over whelming. 9/11 and the days after were some of the scariest days i can remember. :rainbow: :pumpkin: :peace:

I was getting ready for work watching Good Morning America and watched the plane fly into the building on TV.  I worked at a call center in MD and they closed early.

“HAPPY are those who mourn”? “What a contradiction!” someone may well exclaim upon reading those words in Jesus’ sermon on the mount. Mourning and happy at the same time? How can that be?

A little reflection, however, will make it plain. True, among the many definitions of the word “happy” is “having the feeling arising from the consciousness of well-being”; and among its synonyms are gay, cheerful, pleasant, glad and joyous. However, “happy” also has a deeper meaning, such as fortunate, or, from the Bible viewpoint, “favored by God.” It is this weightier meaning that attaches to Jesus’ words: “Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted.”—Matt. 5:4.

I was with my grandma shopping at a store when i saw it being aired on a tv that was showing off tvs that was hooked up to cable. Had to double take from the scenes being shown thought it was a show at first then realised it was the real thing. Can't believe some want us to never remember it happen and just move on

I was driving to the office. I remember exactly which block I was on when the first news report came across the radio of a plane hitting the World Trade Center and they were not yet aware that it was anything other than a tragic accident. The second plane strike and the Pentagon and other aftermath all happened after I was in my office which we heard on the radio and then saw on a TV in the vacant apartment above my office.

I do remember 9/11 I was at home. I remember people that flew to NY to work at the Trade building for a couple of days I wanted to be in that group. My son knew a teacher that was hurt from 9/11.

I was home watching tv and all the stations broke in with breaking news.  It was a shock to watch.
