I have been living where I am for 18 years, I am so ready to go. I have so tired of the area, the same rooms, memories of other things as well. It's time for a fresh start and I'm excited. Anyone else moving soon?

We were planning to buy a house last year, but then Covid hit. Then we were going to try again this fall, but now the housing market is ridiculous. Sorry, I'm not getting into a bidding war to pay OVER asking price. So we've signed another lease on our apartment, and hopefully prices will be more reasonable next year.

I'm not moving anytime soon but I do plan on moving out of state within the next few years.  I've already started the process of clearing out things and getting rid of stuff.

I moved to my new apartment almost a year ago.  Until then I had sold my house in another town and was staying at my daughter's house to take care of her new baby.  It was strange to move to another town, but I like it because I am close to my daughter now.

Where are you moving to?  Out of the country or to another city in the USA?

We moved 4 years ago after 42 years in the same house and have been satisfied with the decision. We made the down payment on our son's new house and we have the basement for a complete apartment with no house payments, so it has helped us make it on Social Security. Fortunately it's only about an hours drive from our old house and we keep up with events on Facebook, so we still have our old friends close enough.
