Since I graduated in February of 1957, I can only remember one person I went to school with back then and that was only because he ended up being my brother-in-law. Time flies by.

I’ve got some requests and it depends on the person.  Most I don’t accept.  I’m not one of the people who have 2,000 ‘friends’, I don’t even know 2,000 people.  Most of my FB friends are really friends, not best friends but actually people I know.

I am the same way. I have 600-700 friends, but they are family or friends that I actually know. I dont just accept anyone. Some are high school friends, but most  are church folks that I know.

I don't accept a lot of requests either, but I do have several friends that have been friends since junior high and high school.  Sometimes some really creepy guys put in friends request, I reject those ones really quick.

It seems like a couple times a week I get the creepy requests from men that have no friends in common and like 3 photos.  Do they really think we are that stupid to accept those kind of requests?? I show them to my husband and we laugh about them, because I am a middle aged married woman so why are these supposedly rich good looking men checking me out? lol Then I delete them of course.

A lot of them are scammers.  Beware.

I get a lot of request from people that play the same games I play and they need teammates, I always check for mutual friends and make sure that is really their agenda, otherwise I delete them.

I get friend requests from people I knew or knew of from years ago here and there.  Most of the time I accept, what's the harm in accepting a friend request from someone who could possibly become an actual friend? When you automatically deny the request that seems as if there's some kind of grudge there, and life is too short for that.  I have held grudges long enough and it is not God like.  However, there are times when I choose to deny the request and those times include their page being full of foolishness and if we stopped talking on a matter very serious and they never apologized or acknowledged it.

I'm the same way, growth is amazing and I love to witness it.  If a person seems to be just trying to grow their friend numbers that might be reason to deny; if they have a significant number of friends that are opposite the type of friends I like I might not accept due to being exposed to and risking getting invites from their friends.

Yes,  have had many requests. I love to see how much they have changed.

I used to send requests for people I actually associated with. I mean they may not have been my friends but I actually met and conversed with them.

I got a lot of requests on Linked In, mostly professional contacts, for which I tend to accept.
