Just got back from a 2 week vacation in September. It was awesome

I just started working again full time this week after over a year and a half of intermittent working from home part time situation. I do not need a long vacation, and I am looking forward to that first paycheck. That said, I will be permitted to take a vacation next summer for the week that my family and I already had planned to go on a scheduled outing - which will be nice. I would have gladly skipped the vacation and stayed at home to go to work that week while my wife and daughter had fun in the sun - IF that had been required of me. But thankfully, I will be entitled to it.

Yes I do. We live on a farm and it is work,work all day long.

I wish I could vacation twice a year. I went this year for the first time since 2008 and it was long overdue. I could use another one.
