I learned to drive with a stick shift. I prefer to drive an automatic.

growing up my parents and brother drove stick shifts. I drive with hand controls so i need an automatic. Even if i could i won't drive a stick.

Of course, when we were young my parents made it a must to know. Except my sister, she didnt want to drive anything, let alone a stick.

I took my drivers test on a stick shift and that is what i would prefer. My wide cannot drive a stick shift so we usually stick with the automatic when we buy a car.
