Cicely Tyson passed away today at age 96. She was an American actress and fashion model. She just released her book "Just As I Am". She also was on Twitter 8 hours ago tweeting. R.I.P. Cicely Tyson

I saw that today. I didn't even realize she was 96 years old. I thought she was in her late 70s or 80s. I will miss seeing her in movies. She really was a legend. She lived a long life.

It is a little sad that she and Leachman died so close together.  It is good that they lived long full lives.  I am looking forward to the same.

She was a good actress and had such a long career I loved that she was still acting so long and enjoyed watching her play Viola Davis' mother in How To Get Away With Murder.

I just saw her on an interview 1 day before she died promoting her new book of her memoirs.  She was an excellent actress.  R.I.P.
