Bad Experience on Peanut Labs Survey
« on: December 24, 2020, 12:29:30 am »
I took a long Peanut Labs survey just now.

I completed it and submitted. It buffered for a very long time and I had a sinking feeling.

Then I got a page telling me that the link sent me was not valid. I did not get credit.

I have had this happen to me a few times on Peanut Labs.

Unfortunately the link you received is not valid. We apologise for the inconvenience

This is happening on many of the Peanut Lab surveys this morning.

I've never seen that error. Is there a way to contact PeanutsLab and ask them to help you? I know they keep a record of all surveys you attempt/complete.

I got the same message on other sites and other surveys for several hours.  It may be that there was a glitch or attack. The situation finally resolved and I have not had that message since. It was very early in the morning.

I checked my Peanut Labs account and it says that I opened the survey but nothing about getting credited.

As long as you opened the survey, there should be a report a problem button which you can use to contact PeanutsLab. Maybe they will credit you if you can prove you completed the survey and there was an error on their part.

I just went to PL and noticed the Report a Problem button. I may try it but I do not know how to prove that I completed the survey.

Update:  I did it. I reported the problem. Thank you for posting and giving me the information that you did. I will let you know what happens,

Hope it works out for you. I am pretty sure PL will have a record of you completing the survey so if you are lucky, they will credit you.

I am glad for the information that you gave me. From now on, I will copy the address line before completing the survey in case I do not get credit. That way I can open a ticket with Peanut Lab immediately.

However, PL contracts with Zen Desk to handle support tickets and Zen Desk tends to tell you generic reasons why you did not get credit without ever giving you any credit.

Many sites use Zen Desk to tell you why you did not get paid. It seems to me that they use Zen Desk to not pay you.

That's such a bummer!  I did one today, completed the whole thing, and it told me I didn't qualify!  However, I'm finding that I'm having more luck finding my $.05 lately with PL than all the other survey sites.  I, like potluck6, completed one today that took foreverrrrrrrrr!!!  I thought it would never end, but it did eventually, and I was awarded a whole $.20. Sometimes I wonder why I bother.  Guess it's the nine year habit!

If you are able to complete the survey you should be paid. And the full amount promised. The preliminary questions at the start should determine if you qualify for the survey.  As for why you bother - hard to say.  I am done with this site at the end of the month unless something changes.  I will watch the forums to see if anybody says stuff is working again. Or if the bonuses owed are paid. But since it has been 7-8 months and there are no explanations I assume that is not going to happen. If I were you I would work on sites where earnings do not expire unless you totally abandon your account for x amount of time.
