Sitting here in FL, I am ever so grateful we decided to retire here.  No more icy roads and sidewalks.  No more bundling up to go outside and shedding when coming inside.  HOWEVER,  I do miss the beauty of the white trees and landscape.  There is beauty in the storm.

We visited family in Florida in November (we were fully masked at all relevant times and were very conscientious with hygiene, etc.) While there, we went out to eat at a BW3 where an elderly friend our kids is often sitting at the bar. When he came over to meet us, and found out we were from Ohio, he immediately emphasized that he would NEVER go to Ohio and his reasoning was because it snows there. When we tried to explain to him how beautiful Ohio is during the summer - especially up here on Lake Erie, he said "Nope! It's a state that has snow in the winter and I will never go anyplace where it snows ANYTIME of the year." He then went on talking about how he wakes up in the morning and puts on his t-shirt and shorts - never has to wear long pants or a long sleeved shirt/jacket and he is fine with that!

(Within a few days after we left Florida, they had 50° weather)  :D

Im in NY.I dont like extreme snow or cold. But hate extreme heat and humidity.I like it a tad warmer then 50 degrees but will take that over the others i just spoke of.

Balance the rain with me and prefer partly cloudy/cloudy days over strong sunlight.

I’m in PA and we got about 1 foot.  At least we have a friend who plowed our driveway (164 feet)!  I hate snow, actually I hate winter.  I would love to move but my family and best friends (who are extended family to us), live here and I would miss them too much .

They were calling for 15-20 inches here but we only got 9 because it changed to sleet on top of the snow. That's plenty for the year. It's the most snow we've had in 2 years. In the counties north of us, they got a lot more, up to 3 feet in some places. They can have it even though it's so beautiful in the summer in those counties. It was 9 degrees this morning, coldest it's been in a couple years, too, because of the snow pack.

Yet, on Christmas Day, we're supposed to get rain!  That's going to be a real mess.
