It's so great to see Christmas lights and decorations up when I drive around town!

It is nice to see them. Things just seem so much more peaceful this time of the year and I really enjoy seeing the decorations in the neighbors too.

I have had decorations up for a while but nobody knows it. I don't do anything outside. And I don't put my tree in the window.

I don’t know, I feel holidays have just become nothing more than just another day for me. I haven’t celebrated anything or decorated anything for a very long, long, long time time!

Why dont you wear a big wreath around your neck, you can support your pagan holiday and have it serve as a mask as well.

I have decorated for Christmas and I do love Christmas lights, but this Christmas will be so hard for me because my grandson will not be with us this Christmas.  He drowned on Easter Sunday at the young age of 4 and I miss him so much.  It hurts everyday.

I never put up my decorations prior to Thanksgiving even though I should take advantage of the nicer weather while it is in town (Colorado). The weather was nice yesterday (November thirtieth) and I had just gotten back from Thanksgiving in the Mountains with my family so I spent three and a half hours decorating one tree in my front yard. I also picked up a Christmas tree from Costco which was good timing because there were only six left for the season (although I could have gone to five other Costco's located within a thirty minutes drive). I let the branches drop for twenty four hours and will move it inside this evening. We will be purchasing two additional potted trees for decoration and plant them in the spring. We always like to double what has been taken. We will use the Costco tree for fire wood after it has dried out anough.

I see that a lot of my neighbors have hung colorful lights on their house.  If nothing else, it can possibly cheer you up a little bit.

A few of my neighbors put up christmas lights and decorations and they look so pretty and festive but I myself do not take the time to decorate at all.
