I was always messy but now I'm always cleaning.  Had to rewire my brain.  I always put exercise and my artwork first.  Now I clean first.

Very clean and neat.  We grew up in a house with my mother saying ‘put it away or I’ll throw it away’ and believe me threw many many things away.  My siblings lost lots of things and even my dad.  He had a habit when he needed a tool he would bring it from the basement and when done put it on a kitchen counter.  He was told once to take it downstairs.  Next day it was in the garbage.  A few weeks later he couldn’t find the tool and was looking for it.  My mom told him ‘you didn’t put it away so I threw it away’. This was our normal.  I’m a clean freak but not as bad as her and I never threw things away like she did.

I can't do messy. I like things to clean and neat so I can find my things. I do not like having to look for things, especially at the last minute. I like to know things are in their place.

I spend a lot of time cleaning after my younger daughter and her 7 month old baby and myself.

What is your criteria? I think I'm sorta so-so, but I can make it presentable enough for company when they come.  :notworthy:

I try to keep my apartment neat and clean so if someone comes in it looks okay.  I wouldn't say that I'm a neat freak, but I don't like messy spaces.  The first thing I do when I get up in the morning is make up my bed.

I am constantly cleaning my house. I can not stand a dirty floor.
