There is some things in this world that should not be done. Forcibly separating a child from their parents who are desperately trying to make a better life for them, is one of those “things”. I don't care what your political views are. I don't care what part of the planet you live on. Some things should not be done.
I lifted this statement from a Washington Post article.
~ “House Democrats call Trump’s family separations 'reckless incompetence and intentional cruelty'.”[/i]

I don't agree just because Democrats said this. But that bit about “intentional cruelty”? I believe it!!
You have to be a really nasty individual to come up with solution like this. You have to be an even lower lowlife to carry out the order. Even in the military, a subordinate can question the "morality of an order" given to him or her by his superiors. So I don't just put the total responsibility for this action and decision all on Trump! However ... since he is the president ... the buck stops at his desk which means he carries the most weight. I have no doubt it was his idea.
First of all, the problem with “illegal immigration” in America is the fact that some people in America think that other people from outside of America don't need to be treated like human beings. They just need to go back where they came from OR go somewhere else! Just don't come to America. That's the problem!
That attitude is just plain old nasty and intentionally cruel.
No matter what anybody says, the so-called problem of illegal immigration is about POWER when it should be about COMPASSION. Care and compassion for your fellow human being.
You may not be American. But I'm sure your country has immigration laws too. Did a leader in your country ever forcibly separate children from parents? If so, what was the result? Let's discuss. If you think I'm wrong call me out!
