I have a feeling this is never going to happen again.  I agree I just wish they would let us know for sure.

At this point, they may not even be able to afford to pay the backlog of forum bonuses. With regard to PTC and surveys, FC gets a significant amount of revenue and just pays us a portion of what they earn. But as far as I know - ever since its inception, the forum posting bonus has been 100% loss/expense for FC. What revenue did it bring to FC? It may have made the forums a more active and lively place, but I don't think there was ever any ad revenue to FC for users hanging out for extended time in the forum... So where has the forum bonus money come from?


I have five months of unpaid bonuses and I am closing in on 30 posts for November to make it six. That's $18 just for me. I have no idea how many of us regularly complete the bonus, but multiply that amount of bonus money in bulk to all of those active and it really adds up each month that it goes unpaid. If they had to pay everyone what they earned in full at this point, I don't see them staying afloat - unless they have a secret cache of money somewhere.


But I had received about $174 in forum bonuses prior to the recent drought. Nothing to sneeze at - even if it now goes away.

Great post, UGetPaid!  I agree with what you are saying.  I've always believed that FC was paying the $3 bonus out of the goodness of its heart, and was not being repaid through any other means. Because of this crazy year, FC may not have been able to absorb the loss.  Perhaps they can reinstate the bonus, as before, sometime in the future, even if we have to lose the bonuses that were not paid in the past.

Agree with your post 100%, but I think having PTP is what draws a lot of people to FC. Without PTP, they are just another GPT site. When people come on to do PTP, they will likely also do other offers such as PTC, videos, surveys, etc. When FC was popular and had more offers available, I imagine this really helped boost their earnings. More people on the forum = more people on the site = more chance that they did offers = more revenue for FC. Obviously things have changed now and I wouldn't be surprise if they were losing more than they're earning.

Perhaps between the fires in California and the .15 per day PTC, that is why they are dropping the offers, tired of paying people who don't get surveys or qualify.  Not Tap of course, they just went "mobile"
