Trolls
« on: October 23, 2020, 10:52:50 am »
You know trolls really can ruin the experience of a thread. Can't even uplift one another without someone being NEGATIVE. I'm all about uplifting people, and I'm beginning to see more and more that I  don't have time for this website. It's really Stupid, Boring, and Disruptive.  Trolls, if you don't like my topics, please don't respond. Simple as that. If i see a topic that i'm not interested in, I skip it which I have done several times.  ;)

There is 1 particular "troll" on here that thinks they are a no it all, I just ignore them now if I can.

This site's discussion board has been reminding me of Twitter for awhile now.  Fortunately, if you want to ignore the Trolls - here & over there in the Twitterverse - you can opt to mute them; here you can mute them, where you never see their posts - unless someone one quotes them - by clicking the 'Ignore Member' link under one of their posts.

Hope that helps :)

The ignore button is your friend.  It works wonders, use it.

The thing is, some of the negativity the OP is talking about is the truth and a lot of people here are simply espousing a cold, hard albeit dismissive truth.
"Let me ask you something. If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?"

Not everyone is going to be positive about all subjects there are some that will disagree and give there honest opinion but that doesn't make them a troll. Too many times I've seen people call others a troll just for having an opinion that doesn't agree with there own. But if you don't like what someone sys you can just keep hitting the ignore button no matter even if someone quotes said person you can press ignore on them to.

Well said Minion.Let me add to this.

Prov 15:22 22  There is a frustrating of plans where there is no confidential talk,+ but in the multitude of counselors there is accomplishment.+

The apostle Paul went on to write 13 books or letters in the bible.Prior to that he was killing Xtians for the wrong reason even tho he thought he was justified in doing so before Jesus blinded his eyesight.Jesus humbled him but he saw that Paul was ignorant and wanted to do good.Paul got the message and turned his life around  and was used by God to write ALL those books in the bible and please God

How well does that Proverb fit the Dems and the Reps?

That happens more often than not right now.  If someone posts something anywhere that disagrees with someone else the one being disagreed with will call the other a troll.  Kind of like a lot of other words that people do not know the meaning of or misuse. There are a lot of touchy topics right now and like I said on another thread people believe what they do and you are not going to change their mind.
