So very true

When were young we sneak out of the house to go to parties. When we old we sneak out of parties to go home.

Yes, and you know you're old when you have to make sure to eat something before you start drinking alcohol.  :P

I can't relate I was a good kid I never snuck out of the house for anything.  As an adult I find it's rude to leave a party without saying goodbye to the host.

I can't relate to this as I didn't go to parties when young....no sneaking out of the house.  I don't attend parties now a days either,(even if parties were allowed during COVID) so there is no sneaking out to go home.

Reminds me of thiss quote:
Nine Important Facts To Remember As We Grow Older:

#9  Death is the number 1 killer in the world.

#8  Life is sexually transmitted.

#7  Good health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

#6  Men have 2 motivations: hunger and hanky panky, and they can't tell them apart. If you see a gleam in his eyes, make him a sandwich.

#5  Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks, months, maybe years unless you give them your email address.

#4  Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital, dying of nothing.

#3  All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.

#2  In the 60's, people took LSD to make the world weird. Now the world is weird, and people take Prozac to make it normal.

#1  Life is like a jar of jalapeno peppers. What you do today may be a burning issue tomorrow.

I never sneaked out of the house to go to party.  My Mom didn't play about something like that happening.

I love your list!  And, the funny thing is, I never read them before!!

I guess I have to join the "Good Kid Club" because I, too, never snuck out of the house.  My parents were rather strict and had high expectations.  Never even though about it! As far as parties are concerned, it's been quite a while since I have been in that zone.  Some I left early; others not so much.  I usually tried to say goodbye to my host, but sometimes there were too many people and too much going on to get their attention easily.

Reminds me of the admonition to always follow your Mexican Dinners with a big dish of Ice Cream, so on your next ride on the porcelain throne you can chant, "Come On Ice Cream".

I know some people that did that but I was not one of them.  I've always been a homebody and not one to party.
