Between 1987 and 2011 I have read about 19 cases of newborn kidnapping by cesarean section and even though I know all about it the sheer brutality never ceases to amaze me.

I just read a article about this.  I remember the crime when it happened.  It's so sad, but at least the baby survived and is not 16 years old.

I saw this.  I guess we are suppose to feel more sorry for her because she is a woman.  If a man had done this people would be more outraged.  There was one the other day that was on death row (it was a man) who had been on death row for 30 years and died of natural causes.  I don't know that I agree with killing someone as punishment for a crime 25 - 30 years after they done something.

Wow, what a horrific story. I admit I am on the fence about the death penalty in general but this person is a strong candidate.

I couldn't find any information on the surviving child, if you do, please share it with me.

I read somewhere a couple days ago the kid is 16 now.  This has to be a horrible thing for her to be reading and knowing SHE is who this story is about.  The baby lived.  She took it home.  Her husband claims he did not know the baby was not theirs.  But I call BS on that.  Was he not at the hospital when his child was born?  I think he is just trying to save his own skin.  Surely he knew their baby was born dead or died.
