One of the greatest baseball players that has ever played passed away at the age of 75. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends

This one shocked me when I heard the news last night. I was too young to remember his days as a Met (the first time around anyway), but I always recall him as part of that late 70's Cincinnati Reds team.

:(  Well I don't know much about sports greats as I am not a sports "person" but I recognized his name right away but regardless prayers for peace and comfort for his fans, his family and friends.

I was sadden and shocked  to hear of his passing. He's greatness in the game, as well as his integrity, and character will be remembered.  May he RIP.

I caught the end of Tom Terrifics career. He was definitely the greatest Met's player ever.

My dad was telling me about that last night. Really day. He was one of my dad's favorite ball players.

Sad loss, and his grandson I heard made his major league debut today.  R.I.P., prayers to his family.
