He was private but it has brought awareness about colon cancer and screenings.  Colonoscopy checks should start at a younger age.   I watched the Black Panther tribute.

That is really sad about Chadwick Boseman. He was such a great role model, especially for little kids. They said he visited kids with cancer in the hospital even while he himself was undergoing treatment for cancer. What a special guy he was.

So sad and young to die of colon cancer. My mother died of it at age 74.  It always seems like an older persons disease. Haven't seen his movies but now may watch them .

I was so sadden to hear of his passing. That he would visit young cancer patients in the hospital, even as he battled his own disease shows what a caring and amazing man that he was. May he RIP.

The thing that shocked me more was that he was battling this cancer for four years. That means during Captain America : Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers : End Game and Avengers : Infinity War. And, if you read some comments online, all certain people seem to care about is who is going to replace him as Black Panther.  :bad:

Prayers for peace and comfort for his family, fans and friends.  This one was a shocker -  so sad so young.  I was just talking to my son about him right before hearing he passed.

So, young to die from colon cancer. What I don't understand is why, espcially with successful people who forget to get a regular physical medical visit just to check if all the pipes in the body is working! RIP CB!

He had it for 4 years so he was in his 30's when he was diagnosed.  They recommend check up for this at 45 with a family history and 50 without to begin.  Very sad, he did lots of visits to St Jude and other children's hospital to visit the kids with cancer.  R.I.P.

I had not heard of Chadwick Boseman.  So many of his friends said hey didn't know he was ill. His pictures have been all over social media.  My prayers and condolences goes out to his family.

His family knew; they chose to keep it discreet.

Very disturbing & quite sad... was it well known that he had cancer? Seems like this came out of nowhere.

RIP young man.
