I used to use Facebook, but people are just too negative. I don't need any more of that in my life. I still have an account, but it's deactivated. I only log in a few times a year to look up info on local businesses and events, if I can't find it elsewhere. I've never been on any of the other social media sites.

You and me both. I thought I was the only one without an account or a deactivated account. My sister deactivated her account as well. Too much negativity. But you know what's funny? Everybody always talking religious but don't live by it or believe it and then call their page drama free. It's just to frequent. smh

Wow my sentiments EXACTLY - I got so sick of facebook.  I had a lot of "friends" and some family members and I got so sick of it I just didn't go on it and do you think one person tried to check on me to see why?  I am done with facebook.

i used facebook years ago.it became a way to waste  time. i would never trust them today for protecting my  profile info etc. FC is the most i do for social media.

I use it to much for connecting with different groups. Also any cute animal videos.  On it to often have a couple friends who like Trump way to much. One gal is kinda crazy but I just scroll fast past their posts.

Social media is not all that great to use. It sucks up your time. It is a habitual distraction if you allow it.

I use Facebook every day.  I have gotten in touch with so many friends that I otherwise would have lost track of. I originally joined so that I could keep up with my kids and grandkids.  I really enjoy staying in touch with friends and family through social media.  I see it as a good thing.  I stay away from any drama.

 I still use facebook, but don't like it nearly as much as i used to.  It used to be a fun way to stay connected to people.  I loved seeing what friends were up to and seeing their vacation pictures, baby pictures, etc.  Now way too many people use it to shove political crap down your throat.  WHY???  No one has ever changed their politcal position after reading a facebook post.

I found that using it has no benefit other than anxiety and possibly connecting with long lost friends. Everytime when I run into someone that I haven't seen in a while they say "Where you been?" One person said they thought I fell off the face of the earth. If you don't have FB you're either dead or just unpopular meaning have no friends, or have something to hide. It seem that way to me.

I only use social media to promote my businesses and to stay in contact with friends and family. Otherwise I seriously would not be on ya.

I use it everyday to see how my daughter and Grandkids are doing. I love their games as well
