Trump prepares to defund Social Security

If re elected, Trump will defund Social Security. This isn't good and it shows that he doesn't care about people who needs this. I hope to God he doesn't win this election but I got a feeling he will. Are you voting?

Not so! He wants to make changes to SSDI, not the Social Security tha millions of elderly get. What happened was back in one of the eras, disability was tied to Social Security (which it shouldn't have been done), which drains regular Social Security funds. It should have stayed separate. Anyway, in November of last year, the Social Security Administration published its proposals to make several changes to the review system. They want a fourth medical diary category, “Medical Improvement Likely” (there are 3 levels now). With the new category, those in it would need to be reviewed every 2 years. The standards used for disability benefits wouldn't change but the review frequency would increase.

Thanks for the correction regarding the difference in Social Security and SSDI.  I think a lot of people have the made he wrong idea on the issue Trump was speaking about..

I don't agree that your scripture verse tells us not to vote. Voting is our God-given right and responsibility if you love your country. 

Then you support man more then God.The scripture is there for U to see.I remind you also what Jesus said when on trial for his life....My world is NOT a part of this world and he also said Satan was its ruler.Backed up when Satan offered him all the kingdoms of the world for an act of worship.Jesus didnt dispute that,but he did tell him who the TRUE God was and told him to take a hike.

God has blessed America for a long time and it's not from people staying home instead of voting. We need to vote for our principles and stand up for the truth.

I also don't believe in hitting people over the head with scripture. It should always be done with love. 

You really should stand for someone in the political arena. If you don't stand for someone, then you will stand for anything and that's not good.
