Thank you Old Buddy.  I always worked.  Never got welfare and only filed for unemployment twice in my life.It's not like these workers wanted their jobs to end or stop.

Yes, I just heard about him signing executive orders for unemployment benefits and that it does not include a second stimulus check at this time.

He made 4 EOs. The other 3 were for moratorium on evictions. student loan deferments, and payroll tax holiday for those making less than $100K.  There's going to be a fight with the Dems because anything to do with money and taxes has to go through Congress. Plus Pelosi and Schumer don't want to give up on the $600 a week unemployment extra. So, will this hurt Trump or hurt the Dems?

Executive Orders bypass Congress, there doesn't need approval. They may try to hold it up by lawsuits, but why would they hold up these 4 EOs when they just benefit people who are hurting through no fault of their own?

It kind of becomes welfare when people refuse to work because they are making more sitting at home drawing a check.  The extra should have never been given.  They should have got the unemployment that they normally would have received.  I know several who are making way more drawing a check than they ever did working and they refuse to go back to work.  It is going to be hilarious when tax time comes and they find themselves in a higher tax bracket because of the extra money and they have to pay taxes on this money.  Oh and then they realize that the $1200 was an advance on next year's return so they don't get that either come the first of the year.

Though it is less it is better then nothing at all. It is truly madly deeply sad what is going on with the virus. I'm very thankful I'm still working. May everything go back to normal soon ya.
