I just ran to to store and when I came out there is a huge crack in my windshield.  I don’t know how it got there because it wasn’t there when I parked the car.  Just what I need now, another bill!

Doesn't your car insurance cover that? Some of them do; or at least used to. Boy, I'm sorry that happened.

I hope not either, but I pulled into parking lot and it was fine.  I came out about 45 minutes later and a huge crack from end of passenger side to middle of windshield

Nancy,the heat could be responsible too.They say when its hot to leave your windows open a crack.

Anyway im sure your insurance should cover it.Just a pain in the butt right?

In my experience, most auto insurance companies have pay for glass replacement.

Depends on how big of a crack it is in the window sometimes you can actually have it fixed not sure how the process works just heard about it a lot. But your insurance should be able to replace it if it needs it

Car insurance if you have it. Also, there's some affordable glass repair kits you can use to repair windshield crack.

Probably some vehicle driving by that kicked up a rock while passing . its happen to me. Heck my glass on my drivers side door one day on a car i used to have was completely not shattered but hit by something it looked like ice instead of a widow. Insurance should cover it

Best wishes. That happened to my car a couple of years ago so I bought a windshield insurance. Didn't happen afterwards though.
