Did the moderation around here used to be more on top of things in the past?

I don't think so.  I remember at least 4 years ago there was someone (likely the same person) came in with a bunch of newbie accounts and was posting personal links to other sites.  Everyone was reporting it and the links stayed up for weeks and eventually dropped in the the abyss of pages as people posted about other things.  Moderators use to answer support tickets.  I had an issue when I first joined the site and my ticket was answered in less than 2 days.  The last ticket I submitted I received an answer a couple months later and the issue I had reported had been fixed. But when I reported it there was an issue with that part of the site. smh

I just find it hard to believe that a bunch of new people would just come across this site (all at the same time) and be familiar with the forums and post a ton of stuff all within a few hours.  And all of the things posted are somewhat related and along the same lines.  And it is also in line with what was posted at other times.  Surely I am not the only one that can see this.

I agree it definitely is one person.  I find it very hard to believe that all of a sudden a few people decided to join FC and post crap at the same time.  I opened a few with different names until I realized what they were (guess I’m not too sharp).lol what I don’t get is why you think it’s ok to post stuff like that?  I’m sure there are enough sites you can post to and look at without going on a site like this.

Do you not remember a while back when the same thing happened and it was 3-4 new accounts and all the threads started were s**ual? And then the same person was posting links to personal accts then yelling at everybody for not joining their sites so they could make money from the referrals?  I am telling you it is somebody that is active on the site.  Then there was another thing just a few weeks ago and there was 5-6 newbies and they all immediately before even trying to do anything on the site start threads all complaining about the exact same thing. And then attacking other members (using the same language used in their active acct) saying the site is a scam.

Yes, I had forgot but you are right I remember now.  I remember the yelling they couldn’t make money if we didn’t join,  I’m positive this is the same person posting under different names.  What I can’t understand is why?  Just to get a rise out of us?  We all saw pictures now if we just ignore them they will stop (hopefully)

Honestly, the person has mental issues. If you remember that much do you not also remember other members saying who is behind it? It is someone who is on the site with other posting names.  Several people said who they all thought it was.  It is kind of obvious. The names chosen, the posting style, it all adds up. There were several who immediately thought of the same person when it happened.

A couple of dingbats, that's for sure.  I'm sure the moderators don't want pornography on their site.

Considering that the forum tagline itself says at one point to "keep it PG"... It will flag us for writing the words *bleep* (b.a.l.l.s) or *bleep* (s.m.u.t) or *bleep* (p.o.r.n.), yet this kind of offensive garbage can slip through.  ???

It's time to prohibit newbies from being allowed to post photos and flagging any non-newbie accounts that do post offensive photos or links. If they can limit newbies to no more than 9 forum posts, they should be able to adjust the code to adhere to these reasonable restrictions as well.

I haven't seen any thank god . Hopefully the people posting that crap  get banned . At one time Kohler used to be pretty strict about content on this forum. Its been a while since I joined not sure whats going on and who runs the forum part anymore

They are difficult to avoid, as you scroll through the posts, but "report to moderator" then "ignore user"  they will disappear if we continue to ignore them

"Ignore" these users and report them to Mod:

Obscene post

It's way worse than nude. It's hard p-o-r-n and it's really disgusting and disturbing. It's quite amazing that you can't say the word on here (have to put dashes in the word), but they can post the actual pornographic picture on the site as though that's just fine.  :-[ Oh, evidently you can write pornographic, but not p-o-r-n.

Don't be curious enough to investigate. You'll be sorry that you did. Those type of hard pornographic pictures don't get easily erased from your mind.  :sad1:

I know we should be careful clicking on random links. People are doing all sort of stuff when on you click on random links. If it's not readily available to see, then I wouldn't be seeing it cause I don't click on random links; even though my handle is "clickers."

Be honest i wouldn't click any random link. You never know where it may go or if it may do something to your comptuer or laptop . The forums need some mods who could watch over this forum for stuff like that and stuff thats placed in areas that the post clearly does not belong

I keep reporting it and expecting nothing to be done about it. Ridiculous.

That maybe true but some of the babes of the day in the paid to click section are pornstars so...

I am curious why FC hasn't blocked them.  It's strange if they accept but will deduct money from your account when the advertiser complains after they have gotten the answers, then states that they were not satisfied and refuse to pay you.  But is perfectly ok if someone/s publish inappropriate info.
