It is a shame that this is happening.  It is very disappointing to have stuff stolen from your porch

These guys are so brazen, you would not only need to be home but be sitting on the porch waiting for the delivery man (or woman) so you could take it inside as soon as it arrived.

I hope you can either get your money back or a replacement free

Strike one on the seller, but I was required to reach out to them first before asking Amazon for a refund. I gave them the basic details contained in my first post here. Their response = "I am sorry have you tried opening a missing package claim through USPS? Unfortunately, once a package leaves our warehouse we are no longer responsible. I apologize for the inconvenience."

This is why Amazon installed the "lockBoxes" all over the city!  You have the code and only you can retrieve the package.  Not as convenient but safe.

OR you could have delivery notifications set up so that as soon as it is scanned as delivered you get a notification either via text or in the app of the delivery method. You can also go in to the fedex and ups app both and change the delivery date so if say you are going to be home Thursday but the package is suppose to come Wednesday you can change it to come Thursday when you are there. Most people don't live in a dungeon so when vehicles pull in to their drive they hear them. Not to mention the people who have cameras and would also be notified that someone had entered their property. All kinds of ways to know a package has arrived without sitting on the porch.

Wow.  I guess they have so many who try to get a second package for free they don't replace them any longer.  In their defense it really is not their fault and putting yourself in their place YOU as the company owner should not have to be out the money.  IF it was delivered to your home and then was stolen from your home it really isn't the person you purchased it from fault.  Most times I am here when I get a delivery. And my neighborhood is pretty safe as far as packages not being stolen. So far anyway. Sorry that happened. I know I would be frustrated. And would def look in to cameras.

Depends on where you live. I have never heard of an Amazon lock box. When I was working where I was away from home all day I would have things delivered to somewhere else where I knew somebody could take the package. I have had people have stuff delivered to my house when they knew I would be home to get the package for them.

Maybe they are only in large cities.  We have one at the convenience store 1 block away!

No problem with porch stealing as we live in a very rural area but we do have problems with the delivery guys.  The usps and ups are great but the FED EX folks just cannot get it right.  One actually threw our package up on the porch instead of climbing the stairs! Fortunately for him I was watching him when he drove up and it was obvious from his body language that he was having a bad day, and, the item was a soft pack item that could not break, so, I did not report him. Usually, FEDEX drops them by the garage door instead of coming up the steps to the front door.  No much of a problem until the don't deliver but leave a note there that no one was home!  Yup - we were home but no door bell on the downstairs garage door! Such laziness.  More on the reason why later.

I'm always home, but the delivery people never even ring the doorbell or knock so it is a surprise to find a package on my step or to get a message saying it has been delivered. Good thing is that no one ever comes up our long and rough driveway so they are pretty safe.
