I am trying to get the yard as wet as possible.  Hoping that my plants deal with the heat better.  Then I plan on  staying in side with the ac.

I actually had to slip a jacket on for my walk at 9AM today, but it's going to be 82 at 3PM when I do my second walk, so the dress will be a T-shirt and my sun hat.

Temp is 89 in Orange MA ......glad for the AC.  The humidity is always worse than the heat to me.

Yea and my electric bill has shot up the last two month already.  I stay in all the time so I am not outside getting heat stroke but that electric bill is painful.  Well stay cool as you can.

Mid 90s here on the east coast for the next several days. Work in the yard in the morning and then relax in the pool in the afternoon and evening.

Oh, my gosh! A heat index value of 109? I think that would definitely be staying-in weather for me. It's been pretty hot here in Georgia this summer as well. Yesterday it was 95 degrees with a heat index value of 101. And I thought THAT was hot, LOL!

Wow, that is hot! So far this summer where I live it hasn't gotten that hot yet but there is always potential for it. This week has been in the mid to upper 90s here. When it gets in the triple digits thats kind of hard to handle.

It's been in the low 90's in the mts of NC for a couple weeks and looks like another 2 weeks of upper 80's and low 90's. This definitely hotter than most years during July. Our air conditioner simply can't keep up, so we are hot, sticky and grouchy even staying inside. I am an outdoors person, so this is getting old.

In Oregon I just had my first walk at 68 degrees, but by 2pm it will be 87 degrees for my next one.

I guess I'm one of the very few people that actually likes the heat but I guess walking around in this Miami heat (no pun intended) couple hours a day for the past several years, I had better get used to it or I'm keeling over.
