The only true and pure North Americans are the Natives and they are treated as bad as any foreignere.

You seem to be confused. "native" Americans aren't "native".... their ancestors migrated over the Bering Strait when there was a land bridge. They're originally of Euro-Asian descent.

& there was no "America" until it was named in 1492 shortly after Columbus' voyage.

Anyone that is born in America is a "native".

If "foreigners" are treated so poorly here in America, why are so many people wanting to move here? legally & illegally?  Why would any people want to move to a country where they are treated so poorly?

There you go confusing people with the facts. lol

The illegals want to come here for a free ride.  All they gotta do is get across the border and it is free health care, free housing, free money, free food, free everything.

One thing I, and many others, have realized is that these "boycotts" usually have a lifespan of 72 hours on social media & then people are on to the next company to be outraged about... Bath & Body Works is being "boycotted" now as well - that one lasted probably less than 24 hours on social media. Now the outraged have moved on, probably to something Trump misspelled on a Tweet.

I don't buy Goya products, but went out of my way to purchase their brand last Friday at Ralphs- coconut water, plantain chips, & split peas for soup.  Goya is a good company that contributes a lot of product to the needy, facts that were posted on social media during the "boycott".  Not so sure other companies step up as much as Goya, but glad to know that now. :)

What is the problem with Bath and Body? Most boycotts are verbally only. People every where still buy Nike. Most did not boycott the NFL. It is like a cousin who said well we just wait til the National Anthem is over to turn it on. ::)

I really don't even know what Goya is. I have seen the brand but being unfamiliar with it I have never purchased it. If you knew the true feelings and who everyone in these companies voted for you would sit in your home and die because you could not buy anything. I doubt my personal beliefs align with many of the big shot CEOs in this company.

Illegals DO NOT get anything of those things free, if they have a child in the US the child gets it but not the parents.  For you to get Medicaid and food thru the government you need to be LEGAL, they really check the information and recheck every 6 months to a year.

I am not, never have a been Illegal, I was born in the US (my dad was military my mom is Latin), when they divorced my mother took me brother and me back to her native country, were we grew up and when we were adults we decided to come to our country of birth.  I had never used the system for anything!  Not even on my most difficult Monetary times, and I really hope I will never have to.  but my youngest daughter became a mom at the age of 18 and she had to apply for Medicaid for her daughter since I could not add her to my Insurance.  And she was checked and rechecked for 3 months before they approve the insurance for her baby.  My daughter is a US Citizen, and they still made sure that she was not FAKING her documents, and it was insurance for the Baby not for her, and when they approve the Medicaid, for an 18 years old with No job, and going to College still they told her that SHE could not be approve only the BABY! since she could be on mine without issues there was no big deal.  And DID NOT approve her for WIC, even though she did not worked at the time and she is a full time College Student.

So no, illegals cannot get free ride like you seem to believe.

Real tired of the "Trump hates immigrants" thing. His problem is with illegals. Buy whatever brand of beans you like and move on with your life.

I never said you were illegal. Not once.

And YES ILLEGALS can and do get free rides. I know it for a fact! They get food stamps, free medical, and everything else. Not going to list it all again.  But it is true. You can deny it all you want but I know for a fact and have seen it first hand that illegals DO get food stamps, medical insurance and a bunch of other stuff for FREE.

Well that is a good question.  I think it is because Goya is supporting President Trump.  It is worrisome to me that I fear we are turning into a country where we are not allowed our own opinion without someone coming against us.

It has been that way for a long time. Goes back to what I said in another thread where somebody sees something you post on social media and exposes it to your workplace and you get fired. Or videos you in public or edits clips of videos or whatever. People are vile and vindictive.

I don't buy their products anyway so it will be easy for me to boycott.

You're entire story had nothing to do with anything about illegals not being able to get a free ride... just a story about you & your daughter who are both legal; & if you claimed your daughter on your income tax as a dependent, that is probably why she didn't qualify for WIC, they count your income as hers.

In California, illegals are considered undocumented citizens & get the same benefits as any citizen claiming for government assistance, including free medical & college tuition through the state.
