Covid test

I wouldn't mind if they required me to be tested for whatever reason. Too many A symtomatic people running around. I wouldn't want to pass it to anyone else even if I stay home 99% of the time.

So then go get tested. You may be spreading it around to every one. Oh and you need to be tested every day because you may be negative today and exposed tomorrow and then making everybody sick.

Somebody said last night they can do a blood test. Had not heard that. Here is the thing is vapor from a person talking can supposedly infect an entire stadium of thousands of people then there is no reason to shove a qtip that far up anybody's nose! A simple swab of the cheek would work.

It's uncomfortable for a few seconds that's it wouldn't say it's painful.  I did blow my nose for a few minutes after to try to get rid of the tickling feeling.  It went away pretty quickly.

People are so foolish. You would need to be tested every single day.

I will take one if I feel the need, because otherwise, like some have mentioned, you can get it or show symptoms the day after you take it and then have to go again....it's not the most comfortable test...my girlfriend took it twice

Not yet, but for my upcoming medical exam, I think one is required ahead of time.

I  would do the test if  ; there was indication that I was exposed to someone who tested positive or if I was having any surgical procedure I am sure they would test; but just to do random testing no I will not because I can be tested today and be negative and then maybe go out  in community to grocery store or so store get exposed and now be positive in that case we would be needing to get tested almost every day! If necessary then of course do but doing randomly everyday I am not going to.

Getting a covid test when you have no reason to believe you might have covid (no symptoms, no contact with someone who was recently diagnosed, etc) seems like a waste of a medical procedure.  Unless, of course, you plan is to never leave your home or have any contact of any type after you get your negative test result.

Actually yes.  If you get tested every day.  I just can't see how people can not grasp this.   Read it slow and if you can't grasp get a 2 year old to explain it.  If you are tested on Monday and then get exposed on Tuesday but don't know it then when the test comes back it says negative.  You think you are negative. But you aren't because you were exposed the day after you took the test.  The only way to be 100% sure (if you buy in to the asymptomatic thing) is to be tested every single day.  And live in a bubble in your home.  smh  People just don't THINK for themselves any more.

But you cannot do that.  They were touting you can get it off the mail and deliveries. If somebody shops for you supposedly you can get it off the canned goods. lol  SO there ya go.  Some people are just weak minded though. So I guess if it makes you feel good then go have it.  There are people locally who run get the test cause they want to know if they have it (smh) and then go to Walmart and go to work the next day. Go to the grocery store. Go shopping in near by towns. And I am thinking it is not possible to be this stupid. So yeah you may get a negative result but you have been all over the place for the past 7 days so you still may have it. If you aren't sick I would not worry about it anyway. And just because I had a temp for a day or two I still would not run to the doctor. They can't do anything anyway. And won't or don't unless you are having serious problems breathing.

I am going to have MOHS Surgery (to remove skin cancer) next month and they told me I may have to be tested for Corona before I can proceed, but I don't mind one way or the other.

Wishing you great success with your surgery and that they get 100% of the skin cancer.

I had to get one done due to being exposed by someone at work. It did not hurt in my opinion.

i  have been healthy and i dont  anyone who has been sick so no need to get a test at this time
