I use CCleaner.  It is a free app that clears cache and cookies as well as Ad trails.  Whenever I am having trouble getting videos or surveys, I run the cleaner and then I am all set.  Give it a try.

I already have McAfee the paid version and Malwarebytes the free version. These two run every day to other other day. Thanks! I will still look into CCleaner.

If you have Windows 10, all you need to do is click the magnifying glass at the bottom left and type in "di" to bring up the Disk Cleanup App that is included, then when you finish running it click the Windows Logo to the left of it and select Shut Down. I started having obnoxious problems with CCleaner and switched to this years ago to make all the problems go away.

I can clear my cookies and cache in my browser settings, and I have Avast for my AV, so is there really a reason to have CCleaner too? I just hate to have a bunch of extra useless stuff on my laptop. I've heard of it, but I don't think I've ever had it.

That was my point, you don't need any extra useless stuff to use Disk Cleanup, if you use Windows it is already there.

CCleaner used to be good until Avast bought it. Then they started doing constant pop up ads and also downloading other apps whenever you just want to update CCleaner. Nope, not cool. Uninstalled.

I didn't realize that, but it makes sense after Avast started out being a champion for the common man and degraded into just another make money for myself enterprise worthy of being uninstalled.

I don't have any problems with Avast. Of course they often try to get me to buy the paid version, but for the most part, I'm happy with the free version. I used to swear by AVG, but I started having issues with it and switched to Avast.

Never knew that! Thx...After the new edge browser update I'm making a hate list, but this goes on the love list!

Don't put too much time and effort into that list, the Internet changes constantly (often before you can write anything down).

Hmm did you restart your computer or laptop after doing allt he clean up. Some things don't truly dissapear unless you fully flush it after .  If you have ad blocker on that could cost you too. Some surveys , videos are odd creatures and will be like I don't want you to use this browser get another one. Its like they are picky at times.
