Masks out of machines
« on: July 04, 2020, 05:37:11 am »
I just saw on the news some guy has put together 5 masks in cellophane and invented a machine like candy/soda machines.  I’m not sure where he’s placing the machines, but according to the news it’s taking off and he’s now hiring people to help with demand.  Another millionaire on the way.  Good for him.

Doesn't surprise me.  The masks do seem to be in good supply now.  They have stacks of them every where and can't sell them.  Most people are wearing either home made masks or bandanas.  With more and more places mandating you have to wear them in public people are not going to use the disposable ones. And if they do they won't use correctly.  I saw a kid at the grocery store a couple days ago, with a mask on that was basically black from filth. Then he had gloves on and had those all over his face so those were pretty much useless too.

People don't seem to understand IF you are going to wear the mask you need to keep your hands off of it.  And you need to take it off without touching it and dispose of it properly and properly does not mean thrown down in the parking lot of the building you just exited.  I think we may see more of that from people who are mad because they do not want to wear it.  And that is fine but the person(s) who have to pick up your nasty germ laden mask had nothing to do with the decisions that are being forced upon us.

That sure is a clever way to sell masks. He should put his machines outside of stadiums and ball parks and national parks and state parks, places where lots of people are likely to gather but forget to bring masks.

I can see that happening for sure. Only in America. Americans cash in on everything they can. ::)

I doubt they "forget" to bring masks. People who wear them are not going to "forget" them. He would have to have permission to put them any where. You can't just put a vending machine on somebody else's property. Especially not somewhere like state park or a national park.
