A Fusion Cash Anniversary that I would Prefer To Forget
« on: June 23, 2020, 01:46:48 pm »
It was two years ago in June that I went to log in to Fusion Cash. I could not. There was a notification in very large letters and I think in red that my account was restricted. It had been frozen. The notification stated that FC was researching the problem and that if all checked out, my account would become active again. I was told that it was not necessary to open a support ticket but that i could if I wanted to.

I was stunned. I had been with FC about 7 years and was very active on the site.

I did open a support ticket and in two weeks, I would get a response that my account was now operational and nothing more.

My account became live again and I was able to use Fusion Cash. I was never told why my account had been restricted. I assume that I had broken the rules but if I did so, it was by accident. This happened after I responded to an email survey from FC. Since then, I no longer get email surveys. If I turn the email, survey button to "on", it defaults back to "off".

During my restriction, I could do nothing on FC including posting in Forum. However, I continued to get emails such as that someone responded to my discussion and even that I had received my Forum Bonus. If the restriction had not been lifted, I would have had to forfeit my earnings and never been allowed on FC again.

I did some research and there was a small number of persons out there who had had similar problems with FC but some were never allowed back on the site again.

FC was or is very strict about the rules. That is why I am surprised to see posts about some members who break the rules without any consequences.

As said, I am no longer eligible for FC surveys but can still do TAP. Because earnings have been cut, I cash out less often at less money but still glad to be active on Fusion Cash.

Fortunately, I have never lost my privileges on FC, but I have had other istes do the same thing.  On one they made me open a brand new email account because they said all of the others I tried had been "compromised" (I have a few!)
They should share the reason, or at least what they suspected, so that you can share it and we would all learn what to be careful about.
Glad it only lasted a few months.

I remember you posting about this in the past. It would have been nice if you had been given a reason for the restriction. I am very careful when it comes to following the rules and answering survey questions honestly, but how someone else said here, it would be useful to know what to look out for. Nonetheless, I am glad you were able to get back on FC.

I was shocked at what FC had done to me and I was very angry about it for a long time even after I was back on but but I have sort of gotten over it. I like this site and I would recommend it.

All sites can freeze an account. For Fusion Cash, they refer to it as restricting your account but they have other words for the same thing on other accounts.

It was only two weeks before FC lifted the restriction but it was a long two weeks.

I wish I knew the reason why this was done so I would never do it again but if I were asked about before my account was restricted, maybe I could have cleared up the problem. Maybe I could have explained and my account would never have been restricted.

I did write about it back then but i always remember. I try to take my time answering survey questions and I am always honest or try to be. I try to follow the TOS but one makes mistakes. I believe that I did do something that set off a red flag but I would like to know what. It could be that I did something that caused the computer to shut me down and that a person from FC had to investigate why the computer shut me down. Since I really do not know why.

I've never had my account frozen but can no longer do FC surveys...luckily I can still do TAP, but unless other things increase soon this might be the first month i have been unable to cashout in since joining the site...a lot of things have slowed down or disappeared over the years

I haven't been restricted from Fusion Cash, but I have gotten so I cannot do the TASKS ,  It used to be Crowdflower at one time, not sure what it is now.
