I have a terrible time sleeping.  I've tried everything and yet I still toss and turn most of the night.  I don't have any trouble initially falling asleep, but in about 2-3 hours I wake up and don't sleep much after that.  And it's not like I'm not tired.  I have a very busy schedule and am usually exhausted!   If anyone has any tips or tricks, I'd love to hear them!

Me lately! My one and a half year old has been waking up randomly at all hours of the night. And I am 8 weeks pregnant so the hormones are making me super tired.

When I was going to the office, I was not sleeping more than 4 to 5 hours a day, and it was not a deep sleep.  After quarantine for more than 3 months a recover my behind sleep and try to sleep about 6 to 7 hours, but my body is not liking it.  At least once a week a cannot sleep at all, stay up all night,  Still I cannot get myself to bed before 11 pm and must time cannot stay later than 6 am.

Oh wow, you sound like me! I sleep for at least 6 hours, never 8 hrs. Sometimes 4 or 5.

Download the APP CALM or listen to jazz or relaxing music and try to clear your mind of all this stuff going on in this world. Normally when I can't sleep I'm thinking about the coronavirus, hoping i don't get it, what i'm going to eat when I get up. I go through it too.

Every now and then but not lately if one should sleep somewhere between seven to nine hours a night which I'm led to believe is the healthy range.

I started taking an herb called: BACOPA, & ever since I've been able to get a good sleep, one that is filled with full sleep cycles & vivid REM dreams :)

Most nights, I do not get enough sleep. At my current job, I have three very high-profile responsibilities. Needless to say, I do not get a lot of "off-time", even when I am at home. At best, I get between 3 - 5 hours of sleep. Hopefully, I will not have to be in this situation for much longer.

Nope...no problems sleeping whatsoever and never have had a hard time sleeping. Working more than most, all of my life, has made compact sleep easier to achieve. I work between sixteen to eighteen hours a day so the minute I am able to crawl in bed I am out like a light and dead to the world until my telephone alarm wakes me up at four the next morning. Occasionally I need to take a ten to fifteen minute cat nap which completely revives me. I include forty five to sixty minutes of exercise every day as well. This adds a nice counter effect to blistering my behind, at a desk, in front of a computer all day. Sometimes I may wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom but I have been able to keep work problems from waking me up.

Now that I have been retired for 20 years, I have become quite accustomed to sleeping whenever the opportunity arises. I have nowhere to go and all day to get there, so it's quite natural to slip in a 2 or 3 hour nap or two every day, making a 4 or 5 hour nights sleep all I need.

Before the shelter in place i was getting between 4-5 hours a night-not good quality sleep either.
All tough i still have sleepless nights are few and far between. I am sleeping longer each night and it is much better sleep. :rainbow: :rose: :peace:

I'm happy if I get 6 hours of sleep.  I'm delirious with joy if I sleep 8 hours.
