So sad right now

Well we had two sister cats which were quite older.  We got them when our sons were still kids but I don't exactly remember what year - I think they had to be around 18 years old.  One of them passed away last night and my sons although grown men are devastated.  I am not really a cat person but Mud Pie was like part of the family and I am sad as well.  Sometimes I wonder why life has to be so hard sometimes.  I lost my little dog a few months ago that is in my profile picture and it is just so darn hard.

I’m so sorry.  As a pet lover I know how important the fur babies can, and should, become part of our family.  It’s never easy to lose any.  😥

Uget,first off i see how blind many are thinking animals go to heaven etc.There is no need to beat a dead horse.I realize many are broken hearted when they lose a pet.2 yrs ago till this day my spouse and i lost our beloved Penny and it was hard that she passed right between us after suffering for hrs.I also many know to lighten their load they wanna conjure up a Rainbow bridge.I guess there are worse things people could do but it really is a fantasy.

As far as CG is concerned,between her and JJ they sent in 100s of posts to FC for our removable cos they cant handle the truth about the bible.Yes i scoff at her idea animals go to heaven cos the bible doesnt teach that....but trust me they showed their true colors and lost.....and will continue to lose for being creeps.

So sorry for your loss.  Losing a pet is just as hard as losing family.  They are family!!  Take comfort in knowing what a good life you gave them and how much they were loved.

It's extremely hard to admit this, but I have to agree with Donnamarg 323.  God breathed life into the human being.  He did not do so with animals.  Animals do not know God.  I want to believe pets go to heaven, but I don't think so.

My feelings too. They are just part of your family and life, so they will be missed and will leave an empty spot in your day and heart.
