Why can't we get it together?

Why are the cases of Covid-19 going up?  Why can't we get it together and stop this from spreading?

China has a cure, but will not give it to the US. They hate Trump because he makes them walk the line. That is what all of this is all about. It is a shame so many People are getting sick and dying. I Pray for this to all go away.

Why do you think China has a cure? If they did why would their numbers still be increasing? Why did they lock people in their homes with threats of death if they came out of their homes if they could just "cure" this?  This is basically a new strain of the flu.  There is not a cure just like there is not a cure for the flu.  They have said repeatedly this will return every fall just like the flu does. It is a virus. Not the plague.

I think because as things start to open up; many are not wearing masks or practing social distancing; people want to do what they want to do, not caring that this virus is still out there!. Also, I would imagine as more testing becomes available; then more people might have access to get tested and the numbers may go up.

Why are the Netherlands, Japan and a few other countries with low counts of illness and mostly zero illness now? Why aren't we hearing anything about Germany, Spain, Italy and France anymore? Is everyone cured?  Those countries weren't on lockdown as long as we were. Why?  Sometimes I think this was a biochemical attack on the countries who are our allies and us. I know, I know...conspiracy theory but you have to admit that we're still having high numbers and Dr. Fauci is not helping much by always changing his mind on what to do. The easiest thing to do would've been to check with other countries. Not the W.H.O. They are on China's payroll, always have been, and Fauci is close to the Head of W.H.O. Fauci doesn't seen to  want a cure.

There are too many that wants to do their own thing their own way and doesn't anyone to tell them anything.  If we would all take responsibility for prevention, that would be a great start. Let us all do our part and wear mask and social distancing.

Exactly.  We have a bunch of people too selfish for their own good (our own good).

These other countries had a lot more severe lockdown, better leadership and they followed the rules whereas here some places maybe shut down for a less than a month. These countries are smaller which also plays a role.  You can control things a lot better when there aren't as many people.

It is this simple, no one cares and they really don't no matter what they say. Their to worried about blaming someone instead of doing the right thing. >:(

All we can do is to wait for a vaccine and/or a cure become available and we all be safe. The state governments are moving too fast to reopen the economy.

LOL  When you live under communism you can control the people.  We are a free country.  There is your biggest difference.

Exactly.  We have a bunch of people too selfish for their own good (our own good).

People going to work and living their lives is not being selfish. You have the option to keep your butt at home. Stop trying to control others. If I don't want to be in crowds I take my self out of the crowd. I stay at home. Easy fix. Selfish are the people who are lucky enough to draw a government check, or got to draw unemployment making more money than they ever have in their lives, or people who have real jobs where they work from home.  It is easy to scream lock it down and demand everyone stay at home when you yourself can stay at home and have money deposited in to your checking account every month.  Some people do not have that luxury. Some people actually have to leave their house and go to work.

Here is a little FYI for you - if not for THOSE PEOPLE the grocery stores would be empty, Walmart would be empty, the delivery drivers would not bring your crap to your door when you go online and order it.  And there would be no online ordering either because guess what - people WORK in those positions as well.  Stockers cannot stock shelves from home.  Truck drivers cannot move product from one location to another from home.

People need to worry more about themselves and not so much about everyone else.  It is hilarious how the same people crying and screaming about people being out shopping are completely okay with the thousands and thousands marching in the streets protesting. How exactly is that okay but going to Walmart for groceries is not.  ::) ???

Colorado, where I live, has been stabilizing.  Our numbers were high initially because of outbreaks in our ski towns. Leadership has played a big role.  Our state government shut down the ski hills, restaurants and bars which contributed to our lower numbers as well as stay at home orders. Our Governor was not missing in February, has not played golf during this crisis, and has handled the unrest (surrounding the black lives movement) admirably. Not even one photo opportunity. No mud slinging. No fake facts/lies or tweets. Colorado seems to have a larger percentage of people that are able to work from home so our economy has remained rather unaffected. My day job is looking at revising our back to office with no return before mid-October. Our population is more spread out.
